The Occult Rituals of Mask-Wearing, Hand Washing, Social Distancing, and Isolation
This will be a most unusual topic to address for Christians because it deals with some understandings within the occult … and we do not typically spend any time dealing with such topics. We shy away from anything that hints of Satanism and the world of darkness, because our time is spent in serving our heavenly Father, the God of lights, and we avoid anything that might draw us away from that marvelous light which leads us to God’s Kingdom and eternal life.
Yet, today society over the entire world is faced with a crisis that has never been seen before in modern history … not even during the Spanish Flu epidemic of 1918. The media and governments at all levels are responding to the so-called “pandemic” from a sinister point of view, that it is supposedly so horrific that if you contact the virus you will die. Fear is spread far and wide by radio and television commentators, and like sheep people around the world have fallen into line and obediently donned masks, social distanced, washed their hands frequently and even isolated themselves … despite the fact that most people are healthy enough to not only recover from a Covid-19 attack but most likely will not even know they have been exposed to the pathogen. Only immune-compromised people are in danger of the disease — older people, diabetics, overweight people, and other infirm people. Of the total population in the United States, it has been calculated by the CDC that about 99.74% of people contracting the virus will either show no symptoms or recover; the 0.26% that die have reduced immune function.1 Hardly any young people are ever sickened by the virus unless they are immune-suppressed.
So, what are we to make of this stampede toward wearing masks and doing other strange things nowadays? We should first understand that the current god of this world is Satan the devil (2 Corinthians 4:4; Ephesians 2:2), who revealed his dominion over the nations of the earth to Jesus Christ in the wilderness when he took Him to the top of a very high mountain and said he could give Jesus all of them if He would only bow down and worship him, the devil (Matthew 4:8-10). He is like a roaring lion who prowls the earth, seeking weak and ignorant people whom he may devour (I Peter 5:8).
This fact leads us to the understanding that many, government, education, entertainment, religious, and business leaders are occultists. There is much proof of this fact, for example, the celebrating of the newly resurrected Arch of Baal before government groups in 2016 to 2018 in London, New York City, Dubai, Florence, and Washington, D.C. We know that Baal was the chief religious rival to Yahweh during the early days of Israel, and here we see leaders of many countries tolerating, if not worshipping this pagan icon. The list of recent pagan influences in our world is very long. Even mainline church organizations have been infiltrated by people who practice the Kabbalah, which is the Jewish book of mysticism, magic spells, enchantments, man-made numerology, and other occult practices that orthodox Jewish rabbis use daily.
With many of the world’s top leaders pushing occultism, it is not surprising that the entire global Coronavirus crisis is bathed in occult symbolism and initiation themes. In fact, according to one commentator (Steve Barwick, https://haveyenotread.com/occult-ritual-transformation-and-coronavirus/, May 19, 2020)3, the entire manufactured crisis is one great occult ritual from start to finish, divided up into four mini-rituals, each with a distinct occult purpose of initiation and transformation of the world and its people into a new global order.” What are these rituals?
1. Mask-wearing
2. Hand washing
3. Social distancing
4. Isolation, or lockdowns
According to Steve Barwick, these four rituals are part of an elaborate stage play designed to symbolically initiate people into their new positions in a new global order, which rejects Jesus Christ and places people under the thumb of global elite leaders whose god is Satan himself!
Ritual Mask-Wearing
Please be aware that the discussion in this section deals mostly with the wearing of masks that totally cover the face with the likeness of another personality, such as Batman or Guy Fawkes. However, certain elements of the discussion relate to masks covering the nose and mouth, which are being mandated by some agencies during the Coronavirus situation.
According to Encyclopedia Britannica,
“The person who wears the mask is also considered to be in direct association with the mask’s spirit force and is consequently exposed to like personal danger of being affected by it. For the sake of protection, the wearer, like the mask maker, is required to follow certain sanctioned procedures in using the mask. In some respects, he plays the role of an actor in cooperation or collaboration with the mask. Without the dance and posturing routines that the mask wearer performs, often to the accompaniment of music, the mask would remain a representation without a full life-force. The real drama and power of its form is the important contribution of the wearer. Covered by the mask and costume, the performer loses his previous identity and assumes a new one. Upon donning the mask, the wearer sometimes undergoes a psychic change and as in a trance assumes the spirit character depicted by the mask. Usually, however, the wearer skillfully becomes a ‘partner’ of the character he is impersonating, giving to the mask not only an important spark of vitality by the light flashing from his own eyes but also bringing it alive by his movements and poses. But often the wearer seems to become psychologically one with the character he is helping to create. He seems to become an automaton, without his own will, which has become subservient to that of the personage of the mask. At all times there remains some important association, even if sub rosa, between the mask and its wearer.”
Every person will act somewhat differently to wearing a particular type of mask, but when a government mandates that everyone wears a face mask to ostensibly prevent the spread of a virus (which it does not do), then it is safe to say that those people are paying homage to that agency, even if their better judgment vouches for not wearing one. While the intention may be to help prevent the spread of infection, yet the mask hides the identity of the person, and as a result, it establishes by its features another, being. As Encyclopedia Britannica emphasizes, “This essential characteristic of hiding and revealing personalities or moods is common to all masks.”
Aside from the fact that masks change one’s identity, there is plenty of evidence that shows wearing a mask over the nose and mouth may be dangerous to one’s health, since a person is forced to rebreathe air that is low in oxygen and high in CO2, depleting the body of life-giving oxygen. Moreover, typical face masks do not prevent micron-sized viruses from escaping through the masks. Thus, many medical experts, including the Surgeon General of the United States, openly state that wearing masks has no beneficial effect whatsoever against the Coronavirus.
If masks are not effective from a health perspective, what, then, can be their occult purpose? By wearing a mask over one’s mouth, a person is gesturing his willingness to be subject to others. Again, according to Encyclopedia Britannica, the mask disguises one’s own identity and establishes in you another being …. which is in essence an occult transformation. The change is from an individual sovereign being before God to a collective subject under the auspices of the devil. The proper order in government is reversed, with you placed under the rule of a human government versus a brotherhood with Jesus Christ and the Father (Romans 8:29).
As a sovereign creation by our Father, we have responsibilities that are imperative and must not be interfered with, such as by having a mask over our face.
“Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine (2 Timothy 4:2).”
“And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, ‘All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth, Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit (Matthew 28:19-20).”
How is it possible to carry out our commission of witnessing to His word with a mask over our nose and mouth? This occult symbol serves the purpose of stifling our primary commission to preach the good news of God’s coming Kingdom to all the world and shows submission to another power. Moreover, the face mask as normally worn tends to silence a person — see how easy it is to speak through a mask — and interestingly the word mystery in “Mystery Babylon” (Revelation 17:5) is the Greek musterion, which is derived from the Greek muo, meaning “to shut the mouth, thus a secret or mystery through the idea of silence imposed by initiation into religious rites.”9 Are we not saying that Mystery Babylon wants us to be initiated into her loathsome system, and to do so requires silence — shutting the mouth — which a mask surely helps?
As emphasized by Steve Barwick, the point of ritual mask-wearing is to hammer home within your subconsciousness — day after day for weeks and months — the idea that you are no longer the same, and will never be again. You are inadvertently being transformed to fill a new position in the new order. You are no longer God’s mouthpiece, but demoted from that position of using your God-given spiritual gifts (I Corinthians 12; I Peter 4:10) to the reassigned position of an obedient servant of the State … a serf, as it were, of the new order. One might even say that you consent to this new position by wearing a mask, or at least you are willing to bow to the dictates of, a new world order. However, we as Christians cannot serve two masters, for …
“… what fellowship has righteousness with lawlessness? And what communion has light with darkness? And what accord has Christ with Belial? Or what part has a believer with an unbeliever? And what agreement has the temple of God with idols? For you are the temple of the living God” (2 Corinthians 6:14-16).
The forces behind this ritual mask-wearing are certainly not of Godly origin. They are, as 1 John 2:18 states, an expression of the antichrist that will arise in the end time. As Steve Barwick states,
“You didn’t think these ‘many antichrists’ would sit around on their hands all day, doing nothing, in the final days of this flesh earth age while they’re waiting on the return of their father the devil in his role as the false Messiah, did you? Naturally, they’re softening things up for their god — Satan — before he gets here. They’re using ceremonial occult ritual magic, on a global scale, to capture the entire world in their dragnet. By wearing the mask, you’re being symbolically and alchemically transformed — ‘reborn’ — into their new global system, through occult ritual programming.”
In some cases, according to Encyclopedia Britannica, upon donning the mask the wearer sometimes undergoes a psychic change, and as in a trance assumes the spirit character depicted by the mask. It is the powers-that-be who have masked, muzzled, and demoted you to your new status of slave, on the behalf of their god, the devil himself.
To add fuel to the idea that face masks are being promoted by world leaders as more of an occult symbol than a real barrier to the spread of a Coronavirus, the message on a face mask box says the following:
“WARNING: This product is an ear loop mask. This product is not a respirator and will not provide any protection against Covid-19 contamination or other viruses or contaminants.”
In fact, a scientific paper published by Dr. Denis Rancourt in April of 2020 reveals that the medical literature proves the ineffectiveness of wearing masks to prevent the transmission of a viral disease. Here is the abstract of the paper.
“Masks and respirators do not work. There has been extensive randomized controlled trial (RCT) studies, and meta-analysis reviews of RCT studies, which all show that masks and respirators do not work to prevent respiratory influenza-like illnesses, or respiratory illnesses believed to be transmitted by droplets and aerosol particles.
“Furthermore, the relevant known physics and biology, which I review, are such that masks and respirators should not work. It would by a paradox if masks and respirators worked, given what we know about viral respiratory diseases: The main transmission path is long-residence-time aerosol particles (< 2.5 um), which are too fine to be blocked, and the minimum-infective-dose is smaller than one aerosol particle.
“The present paper about masks illustrates the degree to which governments, the mainstream media, and institutional propagandists can decide to operate in a science vacuum, or select only incomplete science that serves their interests. Such recklessness is also certainly the case with the current global lockdown of over 1 billion people, an unprecedented experiment in medical and political history.”
If the science of the effectiveness of mask-wearing is being ignored, then there must be another reason for its promotion. That reason has already been discussed at length, and it does not originate from our heavely Father, but rather from the father of lies, Satan the devil (John 8:44). As the website, occult-world.com concludes,
1. Ancient peoples understood well the power of the mask. Evidence of mask-wearing in prehistoric societies shows that masks may have been intended to transform the wearer magically.
2. The mask has been revered as a sacred object of power, a living thing that either has its own persona or represents the persona of another being. It enables the wearer magically to bring to life, and even become, the persona or spirit being represented by the mask.
3. The mask is a mediator between the ego and archetype, the mundane [i.e., worldly] and the supernatural, the sacred, and the comic. It connects the present to the past, the individual to the entire collective or race, culture, country — humanity.
Ritual Hand Washing
Washing with water in ancient Israel was a part of the commands involving ceremonial purity and sanitary measures when dealing with bodily discharges, leprosy, dealing with dead bodies, and so on as we read in Leviticus chapters 11 to 15, and Numbers 13. The Pharisees and other opponents of Jesus asked Him, “Why do your disciples not observe the tradition of the men of former times, but they eat their meal with defiled [unwashed] hands” (Mark 7:5). These opponents were not referring to sanitary measures, but to rituals — rather occult rituals — that included the type of vessel from which one would pour, the kind of water used, who should pour, and how much of the hands should be covered by water before eating.
These man-made laws were summarily rejected by Jesus when He stated,
“…Well did Isaiah prophesy of you hypocrites, as it is written: ‘This people honors Me with their lips, but their heart is far from Me, teaching as doctrines the commandments of men.’ For laying aside the commandment of God, you hold the tradition of men — the washing of pitchers, and cups, and many other such things you do.”
While hand washing has value in cleaning the hands of filth and microorganisms, especially before eating or after use of the bathroom, the hand washing prescribed by Pharisees and occultists is much different. It is in reality the washing your hands of your duties to God, your creator.
To the occultists, this forced occult ritual washing of the hands reverses Pilate’s public handwashing ritual, which, for the last 2,000 years, has put the onus for Christ’s death on the hands of the ritualists themselves, and absolved Christ (and the Romans) of all guilt:
“When Pilate saw that he could prevail nothing, but that rather a tumult was made, he took water, and washed his hands beore the multitude, saying, I am innocent of the blood of this just person: see ye to it” (Matthew 27:34
Pilate performed a ritual washing of his hands in front of all of the people of Israel as a means of placing the responsibility for the Lord’s death directly on the heads of those who made sure He would be crucified.
As Steve Barwick states.
“Now, the powers-that-be in this day-and-age — who are descendants of those very same earthly powers who slew Christ ,,, at Calvary — have you washing each day, in occult symbolic ritual, to reverse the impact of Pilate’s original ritual hand-washing, as well as his pronouncement of Christ’s innocence.
“‘Wash your hands,’ the powers-that-be tell you every single day on the nightly news. “Spend at least 30 seconds on each finger of your hands, and on your palms and the back of your hands. Do this repeatedly throughout the day if you want to live.’”
The ritual washing of hands has you symbolically (albeit unconsciously) washing away your old position — your old Master and his prescribed ways — in anticipation of your new master and his ways. Hand washing is the occult ritualistic symbol of rejection. When you fall for the hand-washing ritual, you’re symbolically washing away your old life, under Christ, in willing acceptance of your new life under the new order of the enemy and his “many antichrists” who have been promoting this attempted coup of our heavely Father and Christ’s coming Kingdom. Do not be deceived.
“For false christs and false prophets will rise and show great sights and wonders to deceive, if possible, even the elect” (Matthew 24:24).
The Social Distancing Ritual
The absurdity of maintaining a specified distance between yourself and others to ostensibly prevent the transmission of a virus is overwhelming. It is well-known that viruses are everywhere, in particular in the air we breath; we breath in about 6 million viruses every day. It is impossible to protect oneself from these tiny viruses … and in fact, is not necessary. No matter how far part you are separated from others you will still pick up viruses from others, unless perhaps you wear a Hazmat suit and breath bottled, sterilized air all day and all night.
Why then is there a prescription for social distancing? As God’s people we are told to fellowship with one another regularly, and encourage one another (Acts 2:42; Galatians 2:9; I John 1:3; I Thessalonians 4:18), and that involves being close to one another. How is it possible to administer a “holy kiss” (Romans 16:16; I Corinthians 16:20; II Corinthians 13:12; I Thessalonians 5:26) without actually making contact with another person? How can a person extend the “right hand of fellowship” (Galatians 2:9) without actually making contact, or follow the example of Jesus and call little children to you and lay your hands on them (Matthew 19:13; Luke 18:16)? We are told to be close to our brethren, not physically separated as our leaders are suggesting we ought to be.
The need for closeness is built into the very fabric of humankind, made in God’s image. This truth was made clear in an experiment conducted by the German king, Frederick II in the Thirteenth Century. He intended to discover what language children would naturally grow up to speak if never spoken to. He thought it would be German.
According to www.digma.com, King Frederick took babies from their mothers at birth and placed them in the care of nurses who were forbidden to speak in their hearing. But a second rule was imposed as well: the nurses were not allowed to touch the infants. To his great dismay, Frederick’s experiment was cut short, but not before something radically significant regarding human nature was revealed. The babies grew up to speak no language at all because they died.
In the year 1248, an Italian historian named Salimbene di Adam recorded, with an air of scientific observation, “They could not live without petting.” The babies literally died for want of touch. Modern medicine calls this phenomenon “failure to thrive.” For some reason, we humans flourish under the influence of love and we gradually die without it. The implications of this fact are huge. Consider the research of Dr. Dean Ornish. In his national best seller, Love and Survival, Ornish presents study after study demonstrating that love is a chief influence for mental, emotional, and even physical health. On page 29 he summarizes the unexpected message of the rapidly accumulating body of data: “For some reason, we humans flourish under the influence of love and we gradually die without it. Anything that promotes feelings of love and intimacy is healing: anything that promotes isolation, separation, loneliness, loss, hostility, anger, cynicism, depression, alienation, and related feelings often leads to suffering, disease, and premature death from all causes” (Dean Ornish, Love and Survival, p. 29).
Modern science is now proving through controlled studies that human beings are literally engineered for love. We are made for love, as if our DNA contains the message, “You must love and be loved in order to survive.” Thus, how can one say that social distancing is in any way a positive factor in fostering abundant, healthful lives, much less prevent us from contracting a viral disease?
But there is another side to this social distancing issue: the number six. Why is six feet chosen for the distancing, and not four, five, seven, eight, or ten? The number six is the occult number so often used for Satan, and the number of the antichrist is 666 (Revelation 13:18). It is symbolic of separating you from your heavenly Father and Christ, whereas we are admonished in Ephesians 4:16, to be part of “… the whole body fitly joined together and compacted by that which every joint supplies, according to the effectual working in the measure of every part, makes increase of the body unto the edifying of itself in love.”
Once again, Steve Barwick puts the issue into an excellent perspective.
“The term ‘fitly joined together’ means ‘joined, joint-to-joint, or ‘close-jointed’ The word ‘compacted’ means ‘united.’ In other words, Christians are supposed to come together, sinew-to-sinew and joint-to-joint, tightly united in the Body of Christ, and through preaching His Word, we’re to help bring others into the tightly-knit body to help the body grow.
“But the occult ritual initiation rule of six feet of separation symbolically neutralizes this command. It puts arbitrary man-made distance between those who are supposed to have no distance at all between them. It rips the metaphorical body of Christ apart at the seams, symbolically speaking. It separates the ‘joints and sinews’ that are supposed to be so tightly knit together. But as a well-studied and faithful Christian, you know there’s absolutely nothing on this earth that can separate you from the love of Christ (Romans 8:35-39). And that especially included some stupid occult ritual.
“Nevertheless, ritual occult magic is what the powers-that-be do. They glory in it. Their Kabbalah is full of it. It’s what they’ve done for thousands of years. In other words, it’s what they sincerely believe in. And … it’s what they want us to buy into without critical thought. Centuries ago, they brought their occult ritual Kabalistic magic all of the way back from Babylon. Now they’ve opened the ancient books. And they’re unleashing the rituals in the final days of this flesh earth age.”22
This ritual of forced social distancing is designed to symbolically negate or neutralize God’s word in a multitude of ways:
l Eliminating fellowship among believers
l Stopping fellowship of the saints
l Causing faithful leaders of the ecclesia to be cited or even arrested for holding fellowship
l Causing faithful brethren to be cited or even arrested for attending fellowship
l Symbolically tearing apart the mystical and metaphorical Body of Christ, which is supposed to be “fitly joined together and compact”
As I Peter 2:5 states, we are built into a spiritual home, a holy priesthood, to offer spiritual sacrifices acceptable to the Father by Jesus Christ. We comprise a living temple, and if we cannot press the bricks closely together then the gaps can easily become entrances for rats and skunks.
The Ritual of Lockdowns and Isolation
We should perhaps rename this heading, “The world’s first quarantine of the healthy!” Like wearing face masks, washing hands, and social distancing, lockdowns do not work. As proof of this, a study of hospitalizations for the Coronavirus in the New York area showed that 66% of them were among people who wore masks, washed their hands, practiced a six-foot separation, and stayed home. This report in the Daily Mail (United Kingdom) prompted a title, “Does Lock-Down Even Work?”23
Stay-at-home lockdowns do not work. So, why are they being promoted? As Steve Barwick states,
“Lockdowns are little more than social isolation rituals, performed for the purpose of ‘purifying’ the initiate so he can enter the new order unimpeded by things of the past no longer considered, by the powers-that-be, to be beneficial to the initiate. There are basically four stages to an isolation ritual:
Stage 1: Isolation for purification. You are cut off from the normal, and thrust into a “new normal” that is completely different than your past life.
Stage 2: Surrender to the ‘new normal.’ This often involve being given a token gift (think ‘stimulus check’) leading the initiate to believe he’s being well-taken care of by his new overlords, so there’s no need to rebel against the new order one is being initiated into.
Stage 3: Sacrifice. No gift can be given without something being taken. In this case, your dignity … your sovereign independence … your voice … your individual power on this earth as a representative of the Word of the Most High God — all of these things, and more, are being taken from you in exchange for the cold ‘comfort’ of a new way in a new world.
Stage 4: Submission. Think: Mandatory vaccines. Social tracing. The willing acceptance of new rules for a new order.
“Once again, the idea is that the ‘new person’ being initiated into the ‘new order’ needs to be psychologically, if not physically, purged of the old way, before gradually being initiated into the new way.”24
At avoidthemark.com an article on initiation rituals states, “The isolation stage of the ritual is for purification. In this stage, the initiate is separated from the mundane. Did you know that mundane literally means ‘of the world?’ The initiate is largely removed from the otherwise familiar persons, places, and things that they’re used to, in order to be ‘cleared’ of them. An initiate is forced to become detached and isolated, purged and ‘purified.’”
An essential element of this separation from one’s typical environment is the suspension of the normal rules of living that one is used to: the normal way is no more.
Such objectives of isolation, to cause the victim to conform with ideas and mores of some people and governments of men, are anathema to the life of a true Christian. We are to be following Paul’s admonition in II Corinthians 10:4-5:
“For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds, casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ ….”
According to once commentator,
“I believe that Satan’s first and primary method of attack is always to isolate. When he gets you to a place where you feel alone and unsupported, all kinds of lies can take root in your heart. Without the edification and encouragement of truthful voices, the devil whispers to you that you are a victim,that you are being taken advantage of, and that nobody loves you.”26
Renato Alarcom, a medical doctor, wrote in “Mental health in a pandemic state: the route from social isolation to loneliness,”
“The necessary but still unusual (or abnormal) lifestyle determined by an obligatory home seclusion affects critical areas of the individual’s daily life, the conduction of his or her interpersonal relationships and, above all, deeply engrained temperamental features. Unquestionably, social isolation can operate as a triggering, exacerbating agent of loneliness, more so if the latter is already an established personality trait: together with other traits (i.e. submissiveness, depressively, anhedonia, distractibility, or impulsivity, to mention a few), a true personality disorder, compromising identity, self-direction, empathy and intimacy may be the critical, regrettable result.”27
Conclusions
The implications of orders by governments to wear masks, wash hands, socially distance, and isolate themselves is a serious affront to true believers, those possessing the spirit of God. None of these so-called remedies to prevent or slow the transmission of the present-day Covid-19 virus is effective, as proven by countless studies, but nevertheless government authorities still are imposing these restrictions in many areas of the world. The wisdom of such orders in the face of scientific facts stretches the credibility of public officials who insist on ordering the behavior of people, and restricting their activities.
The occult, Satanic origins of all four of these rituals has been exposed in this paper. It is up to each of us to decide how to respond to them, but as for me I will continue to live my life as I always have, under the care and guidance of my heavenly Father, who assures us,
“Surely He shall deliver you from the snare of the fowler and from the perilous pestilence. He shall cover you with His feathers, and under His wings, you shall take refuge; His truth shall be your shield and buckler. You shall not be afraid of the terror by night, nor of the arrow that flies by day, nor of the pestilence that walks in darkness, nor of the destruction that lays waste at noonday. A thousand may fall at your side, and ten thousand at your right hand; but it shall not come near you” (Psalm 91:3-7).
First, we must not be afraid of death, for Jesus Christ, our Savior, conquered death when He rose from the grave on the third day. We, like Him, will one day rise from our earthly grave, meet Christ in the air, and rule as kings and priests on the earth (Matthew 24:29-31; I Thessalonians 4:16-17; Revelation 5:10). Most people on earth are subject to fear of death, a fear which governments prey upon to control them … but not so for us.
“Inasmuch then as the children have partaken of flesh and blood, He Himself likewise shared in the same, that through death He might destroy him who had the power of death, that is, the devil, and release those who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage” (Hebrews 2:14-15).
We must reject those things that separate us from the love of God, and if you perceive that mask-wearing ritual, hand washing, social distancing, and isolation tend to separate you from your Creator, then follow the lead of your Creator. Would Jesus Christ reject these occult rituals? Yes, He would, even as he lived a richly abundant life that built a strong immune system which threw off any virus or bacteria that might attack Him.
We need to walk in His footsteps (I John 2:6), and cast out fear altogther (I Timothy 1:7). Let us prepare for the wonderful world to come in which we will have a direct part.
